In 2009, Dumas Tech Academy adopted a Student Creed for all students to recite each morning. Our creed inspires, motivates, and challenges students to commit to their education and take pride in their school. The purpose of the DTA creed is to build a common language for the school and affirm our daily choices. I am a Dumas Technology Academy student. I accept the challenge to become the best that I can be.
I accept the responsibility for my behavior and the results. I do not have the right to interfere with the learning and well-being of others.
Yesterday's mistakes are behind me. Today's successes are before me. Today begins the rest of my life.
